Nate had eggs, pancakes, potatoes, sticky rice and these little weenies recommended by Edgar.
I had coffee, pancakes, potatoes, and sticky rice.
In hindsight, Nate won't listen to Edgar about "good food".
Edgar and Edna ate fish heads and omletes amongst other items. Particularly noting the fact that they were eating fish heads.
Needless to say the Bantigue family are great hosts and wonderful people dedicated to serving The Lord. It will be an honor to serve them during this trip.

Edgar changed our plans...a lot.

Essentially we will be traveling with Edgar and the boys to deliver food and supplies to the hardest hit islands. This will reduce our days working at Daan but will add a great deal of depth to the trip.
As you can see from the schedule we are playing in Cebu for the next few days. Any recommended places to visit here? Our guides for the next few days will be Giovanni and Johnathan.

Gotta go to the Mall (across the Bridge). Go to StarBucks, then have a good steak at the restaurant next to SB. Maybe check out the resort close to E and E's house (don't know if it had any damage from typhoon). Visit the local jail and minister?? See the historical part of Cebu. HAVE FUN!! Oh, travel will be entertaining...
ReplyDeleteActually, fish heads are not bad (unless they are the dried and fried fish--yuck!). The little weenies are pretty terrible. Ask to have dinner at the "Mexican" restaurant Deborah likes. It is rather good food!! It is located at the smaller Mall that is closer to Bantigues'. Have a great time!!!
ReplyDeleteHow I miss you. Sounds like the Lord has some other things planned for you on this trip. He does that sometimes when we think we know what we are doing, he changes it on us. Can wait to hear how your next day goes. Love you two!!!!

It will be your refueling time. The pase will be quick, so be quick to listen. Remember you two are a shooter and a spotter, covering each other. Tag team. Have fun…..
